Demi Dutchuk Yoga Instructor Specilizing
In Vinyasa Flow.

.“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.”- Rumi

Hello! My name is Demitria, I am a native North westerner born and raised in Port Townsend, WA. I lived on Bainbridge Island for about 7 years and found my first yoga studio experience there. I was mostly just looking for a new way to exercise and get to know the community. It wasn’t until a few months later that I felt my yoga practice start to offer me more than what I ever thought possible. Something inside of me had been awakened. It was then when I realized I wanted to dive deeper on a journey of self-discovery.

On this new path, I moved to Seattle, WA and after a year and a half of living here I decided to pursue a teacher training certification course. After completing my 200 hour Vinyasa Flow teacher training with The Grinning Yogi in Capitol Hill, Seattle, I wanted to share what I learned and share all of the amazing gifts that yoga has to offer.

Yoga has been a part of my life for 8 years now, and my practice has helped me grow and continues to help me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.
In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced. Keep it simple. Keep it honest. Keep it YOU.

Melanie Dalpias Yoga Instructor Specilizing In Vinyasa Flow and Deep Seated Hatha.

Hi there! I am Melanie. I am a Native of Utah, but have lived all over the country. Very happy to be exploring the PNW! I took my first yoga class during my undergraduate work, and kept it up as a hobby off and on for the next several years. While pursuing a career as a Certified Athletic Trainer, I always felt that something was missing. When I found my way to Montana’s super freezing winters, I was introduced to Hot Vinyasa and a 26+6 style, it brought me so much joy compared to any practice I’d done in the past. I became a much more regular practitioner.

After 3 years of frozen winters I moved to the Seattle area, and was welcomed into the wonderful Seattle yoga community. Getting to know some wonderful teachers and yogi’s, I made the major decision to leave my career behind and pursue a happier path beginning with the Life of an Urban Yogi teacher training at Urban Yoga Spa. I am extremely excited to share what I have learned and continue to learn every day with this new community at BluCoral Fit!

I look forward to bringing both flowy Vinyasa and deep seated Hatha practice. I hope to help all of our members feel welcome and included in the exploration of the yoga world. Focusing on alignment, flexibility, and community we will grow together.

“The good life is inspired by love, and guided by knowledge” - Bertrand Russel

Class Descriptions

Hatha Yoga

Most forms of yoga in the West can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, meaning your Ashtanga, vinyasa, Iyengar and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Vinyasa Yoga

The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” like yoga poses for example. In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Ashtanga, Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow could all be considered vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa is also the term used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to Upward-Facing Dog to Downward-Facing Dog) commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.
